Weeks Transmission Service
celebrates 50 years in 2002, serving the Augusta, Georgia area with
honest, dependable service and quality parts and workmanship. Founded in
1952 by Earl Weeks, and originally located on Sandbar Ferry Rd, the
locally owned family business now spans three generations. Ashley
Weeks, President of Weeks Transmission (son of Earl Weeks) opened the
present location on 13th street in 1982. Ashley serves on boards of
local civic and charity organizations, as well as President of the
Augusta Chapter of Automotive Service Association, past Treasurer and
current Senior Vice-President of ASA Georgia Board of Directors.Ashley expanded the current facility in 1999 to include a larger shop with 18 lifts, a new office and customer service area, and state-of-the-art diagnostic and repair equipment by Mitchel computer software, Snap-On scanners, & TransX2000 diagnostic systems. Also in 1982, the family business expanded another generation when John Weeks (Ashley’s son) joined the team. John is presently Vice President and Manager, and is also Vice-President - Mechanical Division ASA GA Board of Directors.. John and Ashley are both advisors at the Augusta Technical College Vocational School. 13TH STREET at
